25 Ways to Commit Murder Accurately Volume 1: Plants is for writers or anyone interested in basic plant toxicology. One of my key motivations for writing this book is the prevalence of murder mysteries with inaccurately portrayed poisons. The unrealistic timing and severity of the toxins, sudden onset of symptoms, and outdated information based on old wives’ tales are all aspects that need to be addressed.
This book is the first in a series. Committing murder accurately using animal toxins, pharmaceuticals, and street drugs will follow. All four volumes include poisons that could kill a character, and poisons that could be used to discredit or incapacitate a witness.
I have also written two cozy mystery series.
The Senior Sleuths Series, starting with Crescent Beach, follows a senior and her long-time girlfriends who need to come together to help a friend who has become a person of interest in a murder.
My second cozy mystery series is the Carolyn Bethell series. In My First Murder, Carolyn, a Poison Information Specialist and her long time friend, Father O’Brien, help solve the murder of a mafia gang leader. In My Second Murder Carolyn holidays at a Vancouver Island lodge and needs to help solve a series of murders there.
